چکیده
Masonry structures comprise a significant portion of the historical building stock all over world. Previous studies have clearly pointed out that unreinforced masonry buildings are vulnerable against extreme loading conditions, such as seismic actions. Therefore, strengthening is inevitable in most cases for to withstand severe loads. In this paper, efficiency fabric reinforced cementitious matrix investigated experimentally by using diagonal tension tests. Fourteen wallets with nominal size 750x750x235 mm were produced solid clay bricks and low-strength mortar. The collected from structural walls an early-20th century under restoration. mortar represents commonly used similar brick located Istanbul, Turkey. By testing specimens monotonic compression loads, effects different types plasters on wallet surface, varying fibers textile reinforcement anchors connection between FRCM substrate investigated. Although samples inherent shortcomings representing overall component response accurately, still qualitative findings enlightening effectiveness system increasing shear strength, stiffness (shear modulus) dissipated energy wallets. strengthened failed due sliding along bed joint and/or stair-shaped separation while refence splitting specimen into two parts stair-stepped shape slipping through joint.

Tensile failure mechanisms in synthetic fibre-reinforced mortar
The ultimate tensile behaviour of fibre-reinforced cementitious composites is closely related to its failure mechanisms which in turn are dependent on reinforcement parameters such as fibre characteristics and the fibre/matrix interface properties. Based on the direct tensile tests of mortar specimens reinforced with various synthetic fibres, this paper attempts to explain such relationships an...
متن کاملStudy the Reinforced Concrete Frame with Brick Masonry Infill due to Lateral Loads
In the building construction, framed structures are frequently used due to ease of construction and rapid progress of work. Masonry infill panels have been widely used as interior and exterior partition walls for aesthetic reasons and functional needs. When infill walls are omitted in a particular storey, a soft storey is formed compared to much stiffer other stories. The masonry infill has bee...

In this research, the authors assess the applicability of the SERVCON model to the e-commerce (e-service) environment in the context of student textbook purchases. Following a literature review, a survey was developed based on previous scales; items were modified to fit the e-commerce environment. The survey was administered to college students in business courses, and 281 usable responses were...
متن کاملEffect of Mortar Type on the Seismic Response of Partially Grouted Reinforced Masonry Shear Walls
Since the establishment of ASTM standard C91, masonry cement mortars have become widely used for masonry construction in low to moderate seismic regions. However, the Masonry Standards Joint Committee Code prohibits the use of masonry cement mortars in lateral force resisting systems for structures that fall into Seismic Design Categories D, E, and F. The general objective of this study is to e...
متن کاملseismic analysis of persian historical brick masonry minarets
according to high height and weak tensile strength of materials in minarets, it is necessary to study the structural behaviour of minarets under earthquake loading. therefore nine historical brick masonry minarets in isfahan have been modelled and analysed by applying the nonlinear finite element method for two cases: 1) the whole minaret, and 2) only the outer shell. results show that all mina...
